We advocate for awareness and informed dialogue about divorce in the Philippines, recognizing both its potential protections and its concerns so Filipinos can make thoughtful, humane decisions.
We aim to inform Filipinos about divorce. Its meaning, reasons, effects, and the different beliefs around it. We present facts and real impacts so people can discuss the issue respectfully and make thoughtful decisions.
Group 3 Grade 10 - Nobel
A Philippines where every person understands the divorce issue and where families are protected through safe, humane choices.
To raise awareness through facts, stories, and data so Filipinos can discuss divorce responsibly and compassionately.
Truth, empathy, child welfare, human dignity, and respect for culture and faith.
Our advocacy is: awareness + protection of people + respectful consideration of values.
I believe marriage is something God values deeply (Matthew 19:5-6), and He teaches that divorce should only be allowed in cases like adultery (Matthew 19:9). But I also understand that people have different beliefs and morals, so I respect the choices others make about their own relationships.
I strongly support legalizing divorce in the Philippines because The current system traps many people in marriages that have already failed which can create unsafe environments. Annulment is too expensive and complicated for the average Filipino, so a simpler option is necessary. Providing a dignified legal exit is a matter of basic human rights and essential for family welfare.
Divorce should be a legal option used for serious, irreparable, or unsafe cases. The main goal is to protect the main victims of divorce, which are the children.
If divorce were legal in the Philippines, I believe that those that suffered in relationships would have a better chance at recovery than those that stay in such relationships.
Call me traditionalist, but I believe that marriage should be forever, hence choosing the right partner is very important.
I think legalizing divorce is not just a legal necessity, it is a pathway to personal liberation and a brighter future for many. It’s crucial that we also advocate for divorce not just as an option, but as a fundamental human right that promotes dignity, safety, and happiness to all.
We are Grade 10 students who researched divorce in the Philippine context. Our group includes different beliefs and perspectives, so we focused on presenting balanced information. Through English, Filipino, AP, Math, and Science, we built this website to inform, not to attack because awareness helps society make better decisions.
